Louis Bredvold
Louis Bredvold (20 July 1888—1 February 1977) was a professor of English at the University of Michigan. He was well known for his contributions to the study of eighteenth-century literature and thought. His books in this field include The Intellectual Milieu of John Dryden, The Natural History of Sensibility, and The Brave New World of the Enlightenment.
