‘The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore,’ is a 14-minute cartoon directed by William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg.
The piece is about the joy of books and took the Best Animated Short Film Oscar in 2011. A book adaptation, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, was published in 2012 and was written and illustrated by William Joyce and Joe Bluhm.
